She told him he had to cook and clean for himself, and he nearly chopped her head off.

Hot-headed Brooklyn resident Ian Robinson, 58, fatally stabbed his wife Sunday in the neck with a kitchen knife in front of their grandson following an argument over domestic duties, police sources said.

The accused killer admitted to investigators he lost it after Hazel Robinson, 51, told him he should cook his own food and do his own laundry, sources said. Hazel Robinson also told her rage-filled hubby she wanted them to lead separate lives, sources said.

“You ruined my life!” Ian Robinson said he yelled moments before he sliced his wife’s neck around 11:45 a.m. in the bedroom of their Canarsie home, according to sources.

“It was gruesome,” said Lydon Laing, Hazel Robinson’s brother. “He witnessed everything.”

Ian Robinson is expected to be arraigned in Brooklyn criminal court Monday.
