With Shaun Livingston bolting to the Warriors, the Nets could be turning to an old draft pick.

The Nets are expected to sign small forward Bojan Bogdanovic, according to multiple reports out of Europe.

The Nets, who are capped out and only have their taxpayer’s exception to spend beyond minimum contracts, drafted Bogdanovic in 2011 with the 31st pick and retained his rights while he played in Turkey.

Bogdanovic, 25, is a 6-8 small forward.

The Nets are still negotiating to retain Paul Pierce, a free agent who is reportedly angling to reunite with Doc Rivers in L.A. The expectation is that once Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James make their decisions, the rest of the free agents will find homes quickly.

Bogdanovic was set to join the Nets last year but Andrei Kirilenko was signed in his slot, rather surprisingly. The Nets can offer Bogdanovic roughly $10 million over three years.

The Nets were hoping to use that money to retain Livingston, but last season’s starting two-guard found a more lucrative offer of $16 million over three years from Golden State.
