A 38-year-old man was fatally shot in the face at a housing project in the Bronx late Monday, police said.

Gunfire erupted at the Webster Houses on E. 169th St., near Park Ave., in Claremont about 11:45 p.m. Police identified the victim as Anthony Holloway of Crotona Park East.

Cops found him facedown. A .45-caliber shell casing was found near his body, sources said.

Holloway was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center, where he died. He had a lengthy criminal record, including an attempted murder arrest from a 2000 shooting.

Cops had not made an arrest by late Tuesday.
