A bitter argument in a Queens pub erupted into violence early Thursday, leaving a 55-year-old man dead from a stab wound to his chest, police said.

The scrap began in Cookie’s Lounge on Cross Bay Blvd., near Sutter Ave., in Ozone Park around 1 a.m.

The victim, identified as John Savillo, came around from behind the bar and argued with a patron, who pulled out a knife, stabbed him twice in the abdomen and once in the chest and took off, police said.

A witness told cops he heard a loud argument in the rear of the bar moments before the stabbing.

Medics took the Savillo to Jamaica Hospital where he was in critical condition, sources said. He was later pronounced deceased.

Cops were looking for the suspect, interviewing witnesses and checking surveillance video.
