A knife-wielding man raped one woman and sexually assaulted another in eerily similar attacks just thirty minutes apart in a Queens park, police said Friday.

The man first ambushed a 32-year-old woman walking in Kissena Park in Flushing around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, police said. The victim told police the stranger threatened her with a knife and demanded money.

She gave the attacker $50 from her pocketbook and was then led down a trail to a thickly-wooded section of the park, where he forced her to perform a sex act and then raped her, cops said.

The woman went to Bellevue Hospital by private means where she was treated and released, officials said.

The assailant grabbed a 17-year-old jogger in the park near Main St. and 56th Ave. in Flushing about thirty minutes later.

He again threatened the woman with a knife and pulled her into a heavily-wooded section of the park, where he forced her to perform a sex act.

The creep then ran off, leaving a condom wrapper behind, according to police sources.

The teen walked to nearby New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens, which is located outside the park, and reported the attack.

Hospital staffers called 911.

The NYPD Queens Special Victims Squad determined that both attacks were committed by the same unidentified man, police said.
