He’s got a Monopoly on balls.

A Minnesota man with an outstanding warrant and an equally outstanding sense of humor attempted to get out of trouble with his trusty “Get out of jail free” card.

Deputy Mike Vai pulled over a vehicle in Dakota County that was registered to someone wanted on a warrant only to realize the driver’s passenger was also wanted on a warrant related to a controlled substance, KARE reports.

As the 35-year-old suspect was getting searched, he revealed his trusty Monopoly card, which works when playing a board game but not so much when trying to avoid getting cuffed.

Consequently, he went directly to jail.

Showcasing their own sense of humor, the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of the “Get out of jail free” card on Facebook, exclaiming, “‘A’ for effort!”

According to FOX 9, his bail has been set at $5,000.
