Neil Young will keep on rockin’ in the not-so-fossil-fuel-free world.

The 73-year-old musician had threatened to pull out of a 2019 London concert if Barclaycard remained the event sponsor, reported BBC News.

Barclays, the parent company of Barclaycard, was listed as a major funder of fossil fuel extraction in a Banking on Climate Change report that earned it a D+ grade.

“I believe in science,” Young, the former member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, wrote in a now-deleted social media post. “I worry about the climate crisis and am deeply concerned about its massive global ramifications.”

Young and Bob Dylan are scheduled to perform in Hyde Park on July 12.

When Barclaycard was removed as sponsor, a jubilant Young claimed victory.

“Happy to announce that the Hyde Park show will proceed without Barclays as a sponsor,” wrote Young on Dec. 11.

Earlier this week, Young had other gripes about the concert, notably the early announcement and that tickets were being offered to the public over his fans.

“I had no idea the announcement was coming that day,” wrote Young. “I was still finessing the art for the poster and trying to make sure that all of the details of the show were agreeable to me.”

Young, a fervent environmentalist and anti-corporate shill, has long criticized fracking and the automotive industry. In November, his Malibu home burned to the ground amid the California wildfires. He blamed President Trump indirectly, citing his views on climate change being a hoax.

“Imagine a leader who cares more for his own, convenient option than he does for the people he leads,” said Young in November. “Imagine an unfit leader. Now imagine a fit one.”
