Actress Mia Farrow’s son Thaddeus died on Wednesday. He was 27.
Thaddeus Farrow was a paraplegic due to polio and died from a life-threatening injury, TMZ reports.
He was found in his car gravely injured around 12:45 p.m. and no foul play was suspected, according to the Hartford Courant.
He later died in a hospital in Dansbury, Conn., near where Mia resides, the report states.
Thaddeus was adopted by Mia in 1994 following her split from film director Woody Allen.
Thaddeus was adopted from Calcutta, India and became one of 10 children adopted by the “Rosemary’s Baby” star, in addition to her four biological children.
One of her adopted children, Soon-Yi Previn, became the center of a family scandal when Allen left her to be with the young woman, who was between 18 and 20 at the time.
Allen and Soon-Yi are still married after more than 24 years together.
In 1992, Mia’s adopted daughter Dylan, who was seven at the time, alleged Allen had sexually abused her in an attic. He was never charged.
She recently posted an open letter reviving her claims of the assault.
