WASHINGTON – Barack Obama‘s top speechwriter has apologized to Hillary Clinton after a photo surfaced of him groping a cardboard cutout of the former First Lady.
Clinton’s office confirmed Friday that Jon Favreau, 27, had been in contact with the secretary of state-designate. The incident is considered closed by Clinton, her office said.
Neither the Obama team nor Favreau, promoted to serve as director of White House speechwriting, were commenting. In the photo, Favreau has his hand on Clinton’s chest while a friend presses a bottle of beer to her lips.
