He wants to have what the “cannibal cop” is having — a taste of freedom.

One of ex-NYPD officer Gilberto Valle’s alleged co-conspirators filed papers this week asking that his conviction be overturned like Valle’s because, like the former cop, his crimes were all imaginary.

Manhattan Federal Court Judge Paul Gardephe overturned Valle’s conspiracy conviction in July, finding his plans to kidnap, kill and eat women were all fantasy.

Michael Van Hise, 23, was initially charged of conspiring with Valle, but those charges were later dropped. He was convicted of conspiring with two other men he had met online to kidnap, rape, torture and murder women.

“I think Van Hise and Valle are very similarly situated,” and it would be “inconsistent” of the judge to let his conviction stand, Van Hise’s lawyer Alice Fontier told the Daily News.
