, the deal guarantees health-care services at the Brooklyn site — but stops short of meeting community demands for a full-service hospital. The deal announced Thursday by Gov. Cuomo, de Blasio and the state university, allows SUNY to relinquish control of the hospital — which has been losing $13 million a month — no later than May. Community groups will play a role in selecting a winning bidder and have agreed to drop all lawsuits aimed at keeping the hospital open.
