A 22-year-old father was fatally shot while riding his bike on a Brooklyn street Wednesday night, police and family members said.

Carlik McClatchie was pedaling on Albany Ave. near Prospect Pl. in Crown Heights at 7 p.m. when a gunman sprayed about 10 bullets on the block, cop sources said.

McClatchie was hit in the stomach and died at Interfaith Hospital, according to police.

“His bike was in the street and he was down on the sidewalk,” said witness Alberto, a grocery clerk who would only give his first name. “He was sitting up and then he fell back. It didn’t look good.”

Family members who gathered at the crime scene, which was littered with shell casings, said McClatchie was a construction worker with a 4-year-old son.

“We called him Teddy because he was a giant Teddy bear,” said his grieving sister Shannon Phillip, 29. “He was a kind, generous, loving father.”

The man’s mother, Marjorie McClatchie, 61, an iron worker, vowed to take care of her grandson.

“He was the baby of the family. I’m trying to be strong,” she said. “We want justice. I have his son, I’m going to raise him now.”

Police had made no arrests by early Thursday and the motive for the killing was unclear.
