YouTube star Michelle Phan is moving from the makeup table to the drafting table.
The self-made beauty adviser — whose channel has nearly 8 million subscribers — will launch a 26-chapter digital comic book called “The Enchantress” this fall.
“Most people think of me as a makeup guru, but might be surprised to know I’m also a trained artist and a huge comic book fan,” Phan said in a statement.
Her book is a collaboration with LINE Webtoon, a website where artists can upload their own works. She’ll promote the project at Comic-Con on July 10.
“The Enchantress” takes place in a dystopian world and centers on a young girl who is discovering her own superpowers.
Phan says the idea had been circulating in her head since she was 11.
