, current Department for the Aging Deputy Commissioner for Program Operations, to Commissioner of the Department of Youth and Community Development.

Marco A. Carrión
, who has served as political director of the New York City Central Labor Council, to lead the mayor’s Community Affairs Unit.

Mindy Tarlow
, most recently executive director and CEO of the Center for Employment Opportunities, as the director of the Office of Operations.

Peter Ragone
, a consultant who worked with de Blasio at HUD before going on to handle communications for Al Gore’s 2000 presidential run and for Gov. Cuomo’s 2002 primary bid, as a senior advisor.

Max Sevillia
, a former director of policy and legislative affairs for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, to handle Federal Legislative Affairs.
