Rob Astorino, the Republican Westchester County executive considering a run for governor this year, was not surprisingly unimpressed by Gov. Cuomo’s State of the State speech this afternoon.
Here is his statement:
“Governor Cuomo’s speech raised more questions than it offered answers. It was a laundry-list of proposals that lacked both funding and detail. Under Andrew Cuomo, New York has the highest taxes in the nation, the most debt and corruption, and the worst business climate. More people are leaving New York than any other state. I heard nothing of substance today that would reverse that course.”
