ALBANY — A Presidents’ Day tweet from Gov. Cuomo suggests he has the White House on his mind.
Cuomo asked a holiday trivia question on Twitter Monday: “Which state had the most governors go on to become President?”
The answer — surprise, surprise — is New York, which had four.
Could Cuomo one day become the fifth?
The governor is believed to have long eyed a 2016 run, though many believe he’ll take a pass, particularly if another New York Democrat, Hillary Clinton, runs.

Whenever he’s asked about his intentions, Cuomo says he is focused on his current job as New York’s governor.
That’s the same job that Presidents Martin Van Buren, Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt all held before heading to the White House.
Cuomo aides said there was no hidden message in Cuomo’s tweet. The governor didn’t even send it out himself, they say.
“The Twitter feed is run by the digital team and has often highlighted historical events,” an aide said.
