While entertaining, Kane seemed to get the better of Petrovic each time they dropped the gloves, even though the tale of the tape is quite even — Kane is 6-foot-2, 204 pounds and Petrovic is 6-foot-4, 206 pounds.

After the second brawl, Kane taunted Petrovic — letting him know he was 2-0 on the night — as referees separated them.

Per NHL rules, both were given game misconducts after the third fight.

The last time two players fought three times was on January 10, 2001, when Bob Probert and Jody Shelley couldn’t contain their on-ice loathing for one another. They wound up fighting a fourth time just days later.
