Now, she's renting one of them: a 4,600-square-foot apartment in the tony Streeterville area of Chicago. Winfrey bought the three-bedroom unit for $5.6 million in 2006, but never moved in, staying instead at a massive spread a few blocks away. What does the $15,000 a month in rent get you? Features include 10-foot-high ceilings, two fireplaces, a library, a solarium, a butler's pantry and a wine room - and his and her bathrooms in the master suite.

If Mitt Romney is elected President, the White House would be his smaller, 'other' home — the one without the ocean view. New details about the GOP front-runner’s plans to knock down his current California beach house and build an opulent new estate are emerging — and they’re complete with a separate elevator just for his family’s cars. The seaside manse in La Jolla, Calif., will also boast an outdoor lap pool — and a basement that’s bigger than the White House’s living quarters. Romney bought the 3,009-square-foot, single-story home — on a half-acre of prime Golden State real estate — for $12 million in 2008.

The actress apparently sold the West End Ave. home for close to the $1.9 million she paid for it in 2004. Why all the sales? The wildly successful Fey may be upgrading her lifestyle. In April 2009, Fey and hubby made waves when they reportedly bought a $3.4 million place on the upper West Side, which included four bedrooms, a nearly 30-foot long living room, and views of the water, according to RealEstalker.

Detailed plans also included a man-made river, the first ever residential IMAX movie theater, an indoor bowling alley and a stand-alone spa.

In total, there are 7 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms on the 25,000 square foot site.

The property has become infamous as “Lot 1882” to neighbors, and there are now plans for it to be rented out once it is completed.

“A savvy investor was needed for this property,” said Valley real estate agent Scott Grigg of The Grigg’s Group, reported AZ Central.

“The original plans for the home were pretty impressive, but it’s far from complete.”

Tech entrepreneur Jason Hope began building the luxury house more than five years ago, in the exclusive Silverleaf community.

Construction was halted in 2011 after Hope’s company Jawa faced a lawsuit over a text-messaging scheme that was alleged to have cost cellphone users millions of dollars.

Although Hope settled the suits in 2012, construction did not resume and the property has sat untouched ever since.
