During the Super Bowl, Eli Manning looked like a little brother who just realized his family bragging rights were over.
When the camera panned to the Mannings in a luxury box during the fourth quarter, the Giants quarterback, almost expressionless, stared blankly ahead as his joyful family celebrated around him.
Why?
Maybe the camera caught Eli at a bad time. Or maybe, because by virtue of the Broncos’ win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium, Peyton Manning now has two Super Bowl titles. That was once the one thing that Eli could hold over his big brother.

Then again, Eli still has more time, since he’s definitely returning next season to a Giants team with receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Peyton seems on his way to retirement.
Of course, Eli’s Giants have endured three straight losing seasons, back-to-back 6-10 seasons, and a coaching change this offseason.
