Bar Refaeli married Thursday, dashing the dreams of men around the world.
Not that any of them stood a chance with the Israeli supermodel.
Refaeli, one of the world’s top models, a TV host, actress and savvy businesswoman wed billionaire businessman, Adi Ezra.
They married in a Jewish ceremony, under a chupah and before some 300 family and friends at the Carmel Forest Spa Resort, near Haifa. Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman officiated.
The bride, 30, wore a Chloe gown and the bride and groom walked down the aisle to “The Beginning of the World” which Shlomi Shabbat sang. When Ezra stepped on the glass, at the end of the ceremony, Bruno Mars’ “Marry Me””played, E! reported.
Refaeli changed into another Chloe creation for the reception which was in a tent, bathed in purple light. Some estimates have the wedding coming in about $330,000.
There was a bit of drama surrounding the wedding because she wanted the airspace closed. Though BBC.com reported the skies stayed open to traffic, Haaretz, Israel’s paper of record, reported that the airspace was closed.
The Israeli press was so frustrated by the distance imposed between them and the couple that they started to interview one another, Haaretz reported.
Refaeli is Israel’s top-earning model, according to Forbes Israel, and has a reported net worth of $20 million.
She has graced countless covers since she started modeling at 11, and has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Refaeli was in a Super Bowl ad, hosted Israel’s X Factor and models for many brands, including Desigual and Escada.
