Cameron Diaz hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. But the standout skit of the night didn’t even include her.

“Weekend Update” host Michael Che stole the spotlight when he talked about the Bill Cosby scandal.

“Hey Bill Cosby, pull your damn pants up,” he began. “I’ve always wanted to say that.”

In the wake of numerous rape accusations against the comedian, Che pointed out how his biggest disappointment is the way the scandal has tarnished the reputation of Cosby’s lovable sitcom dad character, Dr. Cliff Huxtable.

“TV Land pulled all re-runs of ‘The Cosby Show,'” he continued. “I don’t know how to feel about that because I don’t know Bill Cosby, but Cliff Huxtable practically raised me. I love that dude!”

Cosby has been in the spotlight since comedian Hannibal Buress called him a “rapist” during a recent standup followed by several accusers stepping forward claiming the 77-year-old actor drugged them and sexually assaulted them while they were asleep years ago.

Che went on to say that with Dr. Huxtable’s clean cut persona “the only thing he ever tried to sneak when people were asleep was a Hoagie.”

“So while I may never forgive Bill Cosby, hopefully someday I can forgive Dr. Huxtable,” he said, adding, “I mean, I know it’s not the same thing but, I forgave Kramer.”

Michael Richards, who played Kramer in the hit TV sitcom “Seinfeld,” was in hot water in 2006 after spewing several racial slurs onstage at The Laugh Factory.

Diaz tried her best to bring on the laughs in her fourth “SNL” hosting gig with skits like a spoof on her upcoming role in “Annie” and a music video called “Back Home Ballers,” where she showed of her rapping skills.
