Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill tweeted her reaction to an “aggressive” airport pat down on Monday: “OMG.”

“Today in my airport screening, test on my hands was positive. Got private, more aggressive pat down. OMG. #veryuncomfortable.”

It wasn’t the first time the Democratic senator has complained airport security screenings can be too intrusive.

“I try to avoid a pat-down at all costs,” McCaskill told TSA Administrator John Pistole during a 2011 Senate hearing, according to The Hill. “There are many times women put their hands on me in a way that if it was your daughter or your sister or your wife, you would be upset.”

Later Monday, McCaskill posted a follow-up tweet explaining that she’s often frisked because of a metal knee and isn’t demanding special treatment.

“I have pat downs constantly, I have a metal knee,” she wrote. “There aren’t/shouldn’t be special rules for Congress. I should be treated like anyone else.”

The Transportation Security Administration, meanwhile, is under fire for last week’s decision to allow small pocket knives back on airplanes for the first time since the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

On Monday, New York Rep. Peter King called on the Department of Homeland Security to “go back and look” at the new policy, after initially calling it a “common sense decision” that would free up security to focus on other threats.
