ALBANY — Assemblyman Micah Kellner may not have gotten grabby like Vito Lopez but he reportedly liked a male staffer’s hands.
Kellner (D-Manhattan) has been accused of sexually harassing two staffers, including making repeated sexual advances to a male employee.
“It was creepy,” a source with knowledge of the situation told NY1. “One time Micah leaned onto (the staffer’s) shoulders and told him he had pretty hands – and he just froze.”
The male staffer eventually confronted Kellner and found himself alienated by the assemblyman, the source said. The male staffer later quit.
“Micah treats people terribly,” a former staff member told the Daily News Thursday.
A Kellner spokesman declined to comment.
The state’s ethics commission has launched a probe into the accusations against Kellner, who is running for City Council, and the Assembly’s handling of the matter.
It was revealed last month that Kellner’s former chief of staff Eliyanna Kaiser brought allegations to Assembly counsel Bill Collins in 2009 that the assemblyman had sexually inappropriate online conversations with a young woman on his staff.
Collins never pursued the matter.
